NORMANDIA

No me canso de visitar este lugar. Es la segunda vez que vengo y se que no será la última. Hay algo aquí que me cautiva, algo que solo puedes entender cuando pisas ese lugar. El silencio, el recuerdo, lo que representa cada rincón, cada aldea, cada esquina...se siente en todo ello.

Yo siempre digo que se puede viajar al pasado y este lugar es un claro ejemplo de mis palabras. Cuando miras al horizonte, cuando miras al mar, ves claramente la historia de aquellos que dieron su vida por la Europa que tenemos hoy. Cuando te adentras en las aldeas sientes el espíritu de aquellos héroes que lucharon por la libertad y por lo que era justo.

EL sentimiento que te invade no solo es tristeza por saber de aquellos que perdieron su vida por otros, sino también te invade un sentimiento de gratitud. Cuando estás frente a la costa de Omaha sientes todo ese poder que el lugar retiene y abraza a todos los que allí acuden. 

Ese es el sentimiento que me invade cada vez que miro a la costa de Normandía.

I never get tired of visiting this place. It is the second time I've been and will not be the last. There is something here that captivates me, something you can only understand when you stand there. The silence, the memory, representing every corner, every village, every corner ... feel about it all.

I always say that you can travel to the past and this place is a clear example of my words. When you look at the horizon, where the sea view, you clearly see the history of those who gave their lives for the Europe we have today. When you go into the villages feel the spirit of those heroes who fought for freedom and for what was right.

The feeling that comes over you is not just sad to know of those who lost their lives for others, but also invades you a sense of gratitude. When you are off the coast of Omaha you feel all that power that the place holds and embraces all who come there.

That is the feeling that comes over me every time I look at the Normandy coast.
