LA TORRE EIFFEL

Hace 126 años de la apertura de la Torre Eiffel, también conocida como la Dama de Negro. 

Situada en el extremo del Campo de Marte y a orillas del río Sena es la estructura más alta de la ciudad. Hubo un tiempo en el que se pensó destruir la torre por falta de rentabilidad, pero con la llegada de las guerras mundiales a principios del Siglo XX, las autoridades le encontraron utilidad como antena de radiodifusión.

He subido ya en varias ocasiones y aunque siempre digo que será la última, siempre termino por volver a contemplas París desde las alturas.

En esta ocasión he querido unirme a todos aquellos que han querido homenajear a la "Dama de Negro" y no solo he disfrutado de las vistas, sino también de una visita gastronómica en el interior de uno de los monumentos más importantes del mundo.

Located at the end of the Champ de Mars and the banks of the river Seine is the tallest structure in the city. There was a time when it was thought to destroy the tower as unprofitable, but with the advent of the World Wars in the early twentieth century, authorities found him useful as a broadcast antenna.

I've gone several times and although always say the last, always ended up returning to contemplate Paris from the heights.

This time I wanted to join all those who have wanted to honor the "Lady in Black" and I not only enjoyed the views, but also a gastronomic tour inside one of the most important monuments in the world.
