MEMORIES FROM THE PAST

Dicen que los lugares guardan el recuerdo de lo que allí aconteció; que guardan la esencia y capturan el espíritu.

Estoy completamente de acuerdo con ese pensamiento, porque cada vez que acudo a este lugar tan lleno de historia, puedo sentir en la brisa del mar lo que allí se vivió hace 70 años. 

Un lugar en el que muchos perdieron la vida por una Europa libre; la Europa que conocemos ahora.

Omaha Beach, esa playa delimitada por acantilados a ambos lados presenció lo que sería el final de una guerra marcada por el horror.

Tanto en las playas del desembarco como en cada villa de los alrededores, se respira Honor, Respeto, Corage, Valor...pero sobre todo, Gratitud.

They say that the places keep the memory of what happened there; that keep the essence and capture the spirit.

I completely agree with that thought, because every time I come to this place so full of history, I can feel the sea breeze which lived there 70 years ago.

A place where many lost their lives for a free Europe; the Europe that we know today.

Omaha Beach, a beach bounded by cliffs on both sides witnessed what would be the end of a war marked by horror.

Both the landing beaches and surrounding each villa, breathe Honor, Respect, Courage, Valor ... but above all, Gratitude.

BACK TO THE 70s

La realidad es que a pesar de los años y de los tiempos, este pantalón sigue siendo un elemento básico de moda y bastante popular entre los jóvenes de está época.

Los pantalones acampanados se consideraron verdaderamente como "moda" en los años 60 y 70 cuando resurgieron con el movimiento hippie, siendo una prenda versátil y fácil de combinar con diferentes estilos.

Y cual es el mejor calzado para combinar los pantalones campana??

Pues podemos tener varias opciones:

 - Plataformas: Son el tándem perfecto para conseguir un look setentero con buena nota.

  - Ankle Boots: es la mejor forma de aplicar un toque moderno a tus campana.

 - Cuñas: cuanto más alta sea la cuña mejor te sentarán los pantalones.

En mi caso y para este look me he decantado por unas buenas cuñas.

Despite the years and times, this pant is still a staple of fashion and very popular among the youth of this era.

The flares were truly considered as "fashion" in the years 60 and 70 when they resurfaced with the hippie movement, being a versatile, easy to match with different clothing styles.

And what is the best shoes to wear bell-bottom pants ??

As we have several options:

  - Platforms: They are the perfect tandem for a seventies look with flying colors.

   - Ankle Boots: is the best way to implement a modern touch to your campaign.

  - Wedges: the higher the better you sit wedge pants.

In my case and for this look I opted for good wedges.

LONDON TRIP

Cómo me gustó Londres y las ganas que tengo de volver. Lo se, he tardado demasiado en descubrir esa maravillosa ciudad, pero nunca es tarde!!

He disfrutado de cada rincón, de cada lugar histórico y sobre todo de su gente que a pesar de lo que digan, me han tratado fenomenal.
